Located in San Francisco's South of Market (SOMA) area, the Lighthouse Lofts contain twenty-two (22) live/work units in a reclaimed industrial warehouse. The building was built in 1924 as a factory and offices for the San Francisco Lighthouse for the Blind. Today, it contains a mix of business and residential occupants.
Renovated and converted to live/work loft condominiums from 1996 to 1998, Lighthouse Lofts features modern amenities with a value for its rich history.
Constructed in 1924 specifically for the San Francisco Association for the Blind, the organization provided programs and services for the blind, including the manufacture of small items for contracted sale.
